Fundraising Committee

From bake sales to large- scale events the Fundraising committee of Pitt’s KDP is committed to making our chapter a thriving success.

This year the fundraising committee will be hosting a 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run to raise money for A+ Schools!

In addition to the race, the committee will organize bake sales, canning dates, and other fundraisers to benefit our Literacy Alive! initiative and other causes.

Volunteer Committee

The volunteer committee plans thoughtful service events for our chapter to give back to the Pittsburgh community. This year, the volunteer committee will be organizing and hosting a service carnival on campus to get others involved in volunteer work!

Multiple times each month, members of our chapter participate throughout in volunteer events throughout Pittsburgh. Follow us on social media to see what we're up to this month!

Membership Committee

Our social butterflies of the group, the membership committee recruits new candidates and planning social events for our members. This committee ensures that both initiation and formal are wonderful experiences for all members. Throughout the year, you might catch members of Pitt's KDP picking apples at Soergel's Orchard, flying high at Skyzone, or getting spooked at Kennywood--all thanks to events organized by the membership committee.

Celebration of Teaching Committee

Celebration of Teaching is Kappa Delta Pi's signature service initiative. Each year, our chapter's event looks different from the last. In previous year, we did a Literacy Alive! Event.
